In short: the game collects no names, emails or accounts and has no ads or tracking. It sends anonymous level results, which you can turn off.

What the game collects

Elemental Reactor collects anonymous level results to help balance the game. It collects no name, email address, account, location or device details, and gives you no player ID. A result cannot be linked to you or to your other results. After each level attempt, the game sends one record containing:

Where level results go

Results are stored in Google Firebase in Belgium, in the European Union, and only the developer can read them. They are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Because they are anonymous, the developer cannot find or delete one particular person's results. Google's servers see your connection's IP address when a result arrives; the game does not send, read or store it, and Google handles it under its own privacy policy.

Turning it off

Go to Settings and turn off Share play data. Results not yet sent are removed from your phone, and the game plays exactly the same.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards use Apple Game Center on iPhone and Google Play Games on Android. Apple and Google handle sign-in, and they receive your Game Center or Play Games name and your scores, under Apple's and Google's privacy policies. The game itself collects no names or emails. You can use the game without signing in to either service.

What stays on your phone

Your progress (levels beaten, stars, upgrades, settings) is saved only on your device. Apart from the results described above, it never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes it.

Beta testing

If you test through Apple's TestFlight or Google Play, those services handle the download, testing and crash reports under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. The developer may see the email address you joined a test with, and your device model and OS version in crash or feedback reports, and uses them only to run the test and fix the game.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. The game knows nothing about who is playing, including whether a player is a child.
